The successor to Nothing’s mid-range Phone 3a may be closer to launch than expected. The upcoming Nothing Phone 4a has been listed on the UAE’s Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) certification website, indicating that the Carl Pei–led brand is preparing for a rollout in the region.

The development also follows reports that the same device has received approval from India’s Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), which shows that the launch strategy was planned to be executed across all major markets.

TDRA Listing Confirms Model Number

According to the TDRA database, the purported Nothing Phone 4a is listed under model number A069. The handset received certification approval on January 22, although the listing does not disclose specifications, design details, or hardware features.

Phone 4a series announcement from Nothing will take place within the next few weeks.

Expected Pricing in UAE

Phone 4a pricing information has started to appear online. The standard Nothing Phone 4a is expected to be priced at around AED 1,744 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.

A higher-end Nothing Phone 4a Pro is also said to be in development and could cost approximately AED 1,983 for the same memory configuration. The devices are expected to launch in multiple color options, including black, blue, pink, and white.

Specifications: What to Expect

According to leaked information, Nothing Phone 4a will use a Snapdragon 7s series Qualcomm chipset. Official specifications for the device remain unknown, while the actual processor details remain unconfirmed.

Nothing Phone 3a launched in India during March 2025 with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that supported a 120Hz refresh rate and included a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC and 5,000mAh battery, which supported 50W fast charging.

Nothing Phone 4a has received regulatory approvals in multiple regions which enables its upcoming official launch that will help the brand compete better in the mid-range smartphone market.
