Emirates Airlines has announced 131 new job opportunities in Dubai. The new hiring comes amid news that the world’s largest carrier for international air transport is adding more aircraft to its fleet. At present, the Emirates Group has approximately 124,000 employees.

Top airline officials have confirmed that the recruitment process will go on in large numbers. The airline plans to induct close to 5,000 pilots into its services in the next eight to ten years. The latest recruitment drive has already started on the Emirates careers website.

Well-Paying Positions for Airline Pilots and Flight Attendants

Among the most in-demand roles is the Direct Entry Captain position on the A350 and A380 aircraft. Emirates has offered an attractive deal of up to Dh1.18 million per year, tax-free, for eligible direct-entry captains. The position is associated with the provision of accommodation, education allowances for the employee's children, generous annual leave, travel facilities, and insurance cover.

Those pilots seeking faster career development opportunities are also encouraged to apply for the ‘Accelerated Command’ initiative that enables First Officers to command aircraft earlier. This role provides a Dh970,000 tax-free package every year.

First Officer positions are also available on Boeing and Airbus aircraft. Salary packages for pilots, depending on their experience, now offer up to Dh900,000 per year, with higher packages for those who accumulate higher annual flight hours. Emirates has now introduced an opportunity for pilots who possess a Frozen ATPL.

Recruitment for cabin crew remains a key objective. Emirates seeks candidates with prior customer service experience, excellent communication skills, and a professional outlook. The average monthly salary for cabin crew is Dh11,244, including basic salary, travel income, and foreign allowances. The employees get training in Dubai with access to subsidized travel, housing, and health insurance.

Scholarships for UAE Nationals to Pursue Engineering Studies

Emirates is offering a scholarship for a fully sponsored Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License to Emirati youth. Under this five-year scholarship, there is training and exposure to aircraft maintenance practices, including a monthly stipend, travel facilities, and health insurance.

Emirates' recruitment campaign indicates a bright future for those who wish to be associated with one of the world’s most respected carriers in their industry. One may apply for any position through the official recruitment website for free.
