Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra is all set for an official release with major upgrades in battery setup. The smartphone will most likely launch on 25 February 2026. However, the company has not made an official statement yet.

Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumored to run on the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, which enables high-end performance and smoother AI workflows.

Faster Charging and a New Design

The latest model, S26 Ultra, includes a battery upgrade. Samsung has switched its fast charging support from 45W to 60W. This means you can charge most of the battery in just 30 minutes. The screen is redesigned using a new material that saves power while staying bright.

The edges of the phone are slightly rounded, making the large titanium body easier to hold. Under the hood, the new processor and faster memory help the camera take photos without any lag.

Will the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Be More Expensive?

While the price in the US might stay at $1,299, the rest of the world may see a price hike as parts used to make the phone’s chips have become expensive.

In some countries, the cost could go up by nearly $70. The premium phone with a storage of 512 GB is one of the most expensive devices Samsung has ever sold.

Galaxy S26 Ultra leaks suggest that the company is focusing on quality over flashy gimmicks. By improving charging speeds and making the phone more comfortable, it is accommodating users’ needs. The hype around the phone emphasizes that users prefer a reliable and long-lasting device over cheaper models with a shorter lifespan.
