Samsung has launched its new smartphone in the United Arab Emirates. This puts the region among the first markets across the globe where the tech giant has rolled out its first tri-fold device.

This was rolled out on December 19 and puts the region on the list of early markets, including South Korea, China, Singapore, and Taiwan.

How Can This Launch Be Described as a Limited Release?

Galaxy Z Tri-Fold is being launched in extremely short supply in the UAE, with reports indicating that it sold 500 units in total in its first distribution.

Some customers have access to their devices through invitation-only sales, which primarily include early adopters, entrepreneurs, and social influencers. These devices sold out in minutes at selected retail shops.

What Distinguishes Galaxy Z Trifold?

Galaxy Z TriFold provides a novel design through a tri-fold with two hinges, offering the flexibility to change between smartphone, tablet, and multi-window usage modes.

The phone will come with a 10-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display when fully unfolded, giving the feel of a tablet in a pocket-sized device. The smartphone is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy and also the best-in-class 200 MP camera system.

Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold Price in the UAE

The pricing of the gadget in the UAE market stands at about AED 11,999. This puts it in the ultra-premium category. It will be available across Samsung brand stores as well as other selected commercial establishments.

Why is the UAE Important to Samsung’s Strategy?

The fact that Samsung has improved its hold in the UAE market shows the huge demand for the latest consumer innovation in growing tech hubs. The launch of the devices also shows the manufacturer’s vision to experiment further with foldable mobile devices than the current designs of smartphones.
