Avinav Nigam, an Indian expat in Dubai, has turned a personal tragedy into a technological breakthrough by launching a new AI hiring platform. This happened after his close friend lost AED 220,350 to a clever job scam.
He decided to build a system for transparent and secure recruitment. This platform marks a shift toward a safer digital future. Job seekers can now feel more secure against fraudulent recruiters. By automating the screening process, the platform removes the human element often exploited by scammers to trick desperate candidates.
The catalyst for this project was Nigam's friend, who believed a job offer was legitimate and paid a massive sum for fake processing fees. Such incidents are common in the UAE, where many professionals fall prey to fake agencies.
Nigam responded to this issue by creating T-Hiring, an AI-driven ecosystem designed to verify skills and match candidates with real employers. The platform uses advanced algorithms to conduct technical assessments and video interviews. This ensures that every interaction is logged and every job is verified.
His mission is to help job seekers move away from outdated and manipulative methods of hiring that allow bad actors to hide behind fake email addresses. By shifting the process to a secure digital stage, T-Hiring provides a clear trail of communication. This protects both the employer and the applicant from dishonesty.
Unlike traditional recruitment, this AI hiring platform creates a closed loop for communication. The system requires all technical evaluations to happen within its own secure environment. Scammers usually operate by asking for visa fees or training costs before an interview occurs.
An AI-led process, on the other hand, prioritizes skill validation. Industry experts at CloudApper note that traditional recruitment can cost companies up to AED 66,125 per hire. This high cost leads to some firms using unverified third-party agents. By using AI, the cost-per-hire drops by nearly 50%, allowing companies to afford legitimate and high-quality tools.
Job seekers are also protected against scams. If a recruiter demands money outside of the platform’s verified portal, the system flags the request. This digital gatekeeper ensures that talent is provided with opportunity rather than empty promises.
