Bybit, one of the world’s biggest cryptocurrency exchanges, now allows traders in the UAE to trade crypto using UAE Dirhams (AED).
Before, users had to change their money into US dollars or stablecoins. Now, AED can be used directly for trading. This makes buying and selling crypto faster and easier.
At launch, four AED trading pairs are available: USDT/AED, BTC/AED, ETH/AED, and SOL/AED.
The new AED pairs are available for USDT/AED, BTC/AED, ETH/AED, and SOL/AED. UAE users can deposit AED through local banks and start trading instantly. This makes trading faster, cheaper, and simpler for everyone in the region.
Bybit’s move reflects a growing trend in the crypto market: adding local currencies to make trading more convenient. By supporting local bank deposits, the platform connects traditional banking with digital assets. This reduces the hassle of currency conversion and gives traders more control over their funds.
Derek Dai, Regional Head of MENA at Bybit, said that offering AED pairs is more than just convenience. It helps traders participate safely and responsibly while following UAE regulations. The update shows how digital finance and traditional banking are coming together in countries with strong rules and infrastructure.
The UAE has one of the most advanced crypto regulations in the world. Bybit’s new AED pairs make trading more accessible and align with the country’s growing crypto adoption. Traders can now fund their accounts directly from UAE banks and use their AED balances immediately for spot trading.
Bybit also provides guides to help users deposit AED and start trading. Some restrictions apply, but the process is simple and easy to follow.
The new AED pairs make trading more convenient for beginners and experts. It saves time, reduces costs, and gives better trading experience. This also strengthens Bybit’s presence in the Middle East.
Overall, Bybit’s launch of AED trading pairs is a major step toward making crypto trading simple and local for UAE traders. Direct AED trading offers a faster, smoother, and more cost-effective way to trade popular digital assets like BTC, ETH, USDT, and SOL.
